To say I am glad it is Friday would be the understatement of the week! Scout's honor I will do some cutting out and sewing this weekend! You all have made me feel bad for not having my sewing mojo on fire.
Hopefully you will have a kick butt weekend as well! Are any of you working on anything fab?

I just have to laugh, that kitty sure is cranky. Of course if I was having that kind of hair day, I would be cranky too. LOL

YEp! I'm making fab things! :) I've given BWOF a try and stitched up two dresses and a top for my little girls. Also on the short list is a few alterations for a client, another skirt for me, maybe a blouse, a coat muslin also for me and 2 spy coats for my boys. Summer is my sewing mojo time! Don't feel bad for stitching a little less. It comes and goes. :)
I am starting a cute little short-sleeved jacket (McCalls 4928 - OOP). I am not great with jackets, and I've made this pattern before with long sleeves. It did not turn out great; okay, but not great. I am not a quitter though, so I am giving it another shot. Wish me luck and perseverance!
Girl, I felt like this this morning. I can't wait for Friday, 5:00pm. This has been a heck of a week already. Thanks for the chuckle.
This is hilarious. I made 9 baby bibs this morning and quilted them. Now I just have to attach the bias binding. Had hoped to get a pair of pants cut out. Using Vogue #7881 and a lovely drapey poly-gabardine-rayon from Hancock Fabrics. Have 2 other pairs of pants cut out and ready to sew. They are from McCall's #4007. They make great pants to wear around the house.
