Good morning ladies! Well as I wrote earlier, my sewing mojo has been a bit low lately. I have decided to ease myself back to my love of the roar of the machine by playing with some easy summer dresses.
This is the fabric I bought at Hancocks this spring.. I am making the pattern below (since it was such a hit and it is an EASY make)... I am making the shoulder straps out of pink grosgrain ribbon for added fun. I can knock this out tonight!
So I ask you all this... How has your sewing mojo been lately?

Cute fabric! My mojo was gone after the white outfit I made....Then I made a dress for my daughter and it came back...then left again lol. Made a few things for myself....then left again...No sewing or touching fabric for about two weeks and now I think it's back lol.
Great looking fabric! Mine comes in spurts. I'll sew like crazy for weeks and then just stop. Right now, my mind is on Fall.
My mojo? It's been kind of dull lately, but I have been wearing a lot of my pieces lately, so that's good. I have so many projects on my mind that I get overwhelmed. Right now, my attention is turning to accessories.
I was looking at that same fabric! It's funny I buy fabric like crazy then I don't use it 'cause I'm afraid to make a mistake on it. I haven't sewn anything in about a month now. I need to make something really really easy to get my confidence up again. Can't wait to see your dress!
Sorry to hear about your mojo! I've been on fire lately. I usually have something big and complicated on the go at the same time as a few light and easy things to keep me interested when the going gets tough on the harder project. Whilst I never completely stop sewing, sometimes my progress is so slow it's almost glacial. Don't worry, you'll be back at it in no time!

I have been making pet beds. www.freewebs.com/petbeds. As far as clothes go, it's missing. I'm starting to look for it though. I miss making my own clothes! Cute fabric!
In the summertime my sewing mojo is up and down!Then I would go to the mall and see so many cute outfits that easy to make and then I am ready to get back to sewing!

My sewing mojo "got up and went". Summer guests, changing children's schedules, etc. I almost bought THAT pattern!! I can't wait to see how that turns out.
